Matthew N. Chappell collection, 1909-1964.

This collection is arranged to reflect the various roles Chappell filled in the course of his career such as radio broadcaster, scientific researcher, college professor and author. Professional papers of Chappell as well as those of frank Henry Pike, regarding their research on the nervous system is included. Collection includes research notes, typescripts, radio scripts, lecture notes as well as a 1953 study of alcohol use among high school students and a 1957 study on prejudice.
